AUDITIONS!

Saturday Feb 25 MYT has been asked to provide 10 young people (ages 8-14) for an incredible special event happening very soon. The event is called RENEW THE WORLD (http://www.renewtheworld.ca/home.html).

It is a one-time event that will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the discovery of stem cells by two Canadian scientists. * The 10 MYT members chosen for this event will sing two songs at RENEW THE WORLD with several celebrity artists. This is a high-class event where each table of 8 people costs $15,000.00. The celebrity artists are a secret to the audience, so I cannot tell you who they are. But I can tell you that there are 7 amazing celebrity singers joining MYT. These singers have won GRAMMY, JUNO, MUCHMUSIC awards.

It will be thrilling to perform alongside these people. You can audition for this event if you are between the ages of 8-14. Ideally, you should be under 5'2", but we can squeeze in a couple of you if you are a bit taller! If you are over 14, you can audition provided that you are under 5'2" and still look like a child. A group of children is required.

The rehearsal schedule is quite simple, but you must be available for ALL the dates: 

TUESDAY FEB 28, 4:30-6:30PM (at Stage West in Mississauga)

TUESDAY MAR 6, evening (rehearsal in Toronto with celebrity artists)

WEDNESDAY MAR 7, 2PM-10PM (dress rehearsal and event in Toronto)

You will need to be able to get to the Eglinton/Laird area of Toronto (west-end of Toronto close to DVP) for the Mar 6 & 7 dates.

Please note that you will have to leave school early on Mar 7 in order to attend the March 7 rehearsal and performance.
